School in Session Friday, May 1st In order to make up the additional snow day that exceeded the days we have built into our educational calendar, there will be school this Friday, May 1st. All bus route times & class times remain the same.
testing Grades 3-8 will begin state assessments tomorrow, Wednesday, April 8th, and will continue throughout the month of April. Please make sure your student gets plenty of rest and arrives on time so they won't have to do make up testing.
K-5 Play Day Play Day for grades K-5 will be Wednesday, April 29th, starting at 1 pm in the Wakpala School gym. Please have your child wear running shoes. Each student will participate in 3 events and each class will be teamed up for an Ice Cream Cone relay. Families are welcome to attend and cheer on the kids.
Smile Network Smile Network International Oral Health Dental Campaign will be at the Wakpala School on Tuesday, April 28. Students will be seen for preventative dental services if they have a signed consent form from their parent/guardian. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the school nurse at 845-3040 ext 112.
Prom Wakpala's 2026 Prom is Friday, April, 10th. The theme is "Hollywood". Doors open at 6:00 pm CST. Pictures are from 6:00-6:45 pm CST and grand march will be in the theater at 7:00 pm CST.
