Parent-Teacher Conferences The Parent-Teacher conferences scheduled for next Thursday, February 12, have been re-scheduled to Wednesday, February 11. Conferences will be from 4-8 pm. Watch for a letter to be sent home with your student with more information.
Elder Honoring There will be an Elder Honoring on Wednesday, February 11th at 2:30 CST at the Wakpala School
Valentine Fundraiser The Class of 2030 is have a Valentine raffle basket. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Tickets can be purchased from any 8th grade student or the front office.
Pantry Open 2/6/26 The School pantry will be open for parents and guardians tomorrow, Friday, February 6th, from 8-11 am.
Meat Bundles The Wakpala School will be sending home meat bundles on Wednesday, January 28th, and regular food bags on Thursday, January 29th. You can request meat bundles by contacting Samantha Prentice at 845-3040 ext 102.
2 hour late start There will be a 2-hour late start tomorrow, Monday, January 26th due to the wind chill.
Early Release - No School Due to the current and forecasted temperatures, school will be dismissed at 2 pm today (Thursday, January 22nd) and there will be NO SCHOOL tomorrow (Friday, January 23rd)
Weather The Wakpala School will be dismissing at 12:30pm today. The wind should diminish starting at noon. Unfortunately, conditions changed after busses had already picked up students and the school day started. Any student who is not here today will be excused. We appreciate your patience as we monitor these changing weather conditions and will keep everyone posted if any changes to the regular schedule are necessary for the safety of students and staff.
