Wakpala School District #15-3 is a public school located in Wakpala, South Dakota on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation. We are dedicated to the intellectual and social growth of each student as they learn to live effectively in a contemporary bi-cultural world. Our school educates students to help them become successful in all aspects of life with attention to individual differences.

K-2 Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

If a parent/guardian did not return the written permission slip today, 10/19, please call the school to give verbal permission for your K-2nd student(s) to attend the field trip to the Pumpkin Patch in Bismarck tomorrow. Depart at 8:30 - Return by 3:30. Thank you!

Halloween Carnival

The Wakpala School will have a Halloween Carnival on Oct. 29th from 1pm to 3pm for all Wakpala Headstart & Wakpala students in grades K-5 in the school gym. There will be treats given out, games, etc. The kids are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes.

Food Pantry Open 10/19, 10/20 & 10/21

The School food pantry will be open for parents and guardians Mon. through Wed., Oct. 19, 20 & 21, from 8 am -12 pm. Meat bundles are available upon request. Thank you!

Delta Dental - Oct. 19th-23rd

The Delta Dental Mobile Program will be at our school on October 19-23 for dental services. Students with a consent form filled out by their parent/guardian will be seen. Please contact the school nurse at 845-3040 ext 112 with any questions.
