Wakpala School District #15-3 is a public school located in Wakpala, South Dakota on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.  We are dedicated to the intellectual and social growth of each student as they learn to live effectively in a contemporary bi-cultural world.  Our school educates students to help them become successful in all aspects of life with attention to individual differences.

School in Session Friday, May 1st

In order to make up the additional snow day that exceeded the days we have built into our educational calendar, there will be school this Friday, May 1st. All bus route times & class times remain the same.

Wakpala School's Annual Wacipi will be Friday, May 8th. Registration and lunch will be from 11 am-12:30 pm CST. Grand entry will be at 1 pm CST. Everyone is welcome! If your child plans to dance or sit with their family, please check them out at the front office before grand entry.

In observance of the Easter holiday, there will be no school on Good Friday, April 3rd & Easter Monday, April 6th. Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 7th. Happy Easter!
