A survey was mailed out yesterday to all parents of our enrolled students. Your input is very important to us & we value your response! Please return that survey in the enclosed self-addressed, stamped envelope no later than August 7th, 2020. We will put all responses post-marked by August 7th into a drawing for one of 5 -$50 and 5- $25 gift cards!

First day of school is August 20th. New student registration will take place August 12, 13, and 14 from 9am to 3pm CST. If you were enrolled at Wakpala School last year, you do not need to come in to register. Please call the office if you have any changes in address or contact information. You must contact the school during the registration period to let us know if you plan to keep your child home and do remote on-line learning. When we know who and how many, we will set a time and date for parents/guardians and child(ren)to come to the school for a remote on-line learning orientation and training session.

All Wakpala School parents and guardians of enrolled students are invited to a meal starting at 6 pm on Wednesday, August 5th, at Wakpala School, followed by a Back to School meeting to learn about the school’s re-opening safety plan

If your child had a physical last year, one will NOT be required this year. If your child needs a physical this year, please see the attached information.

Wakpala Public School will continue their Open Feeding Site status for ANY child 0-18, regardless of their enrollment. Meals can be picked up at the school from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm CST each Monday & Wednesday. Orders must be placed by calling the School at 845-3040 each Monday & Wednesday between 10:30 am - 1:00 pm CST. The Monday pickup will include breakfast & lunch for Monday & Tuesday. The Wednesday pickup will include breakfast & lunch for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

All student items removed from lockers and classrooms are now located in the commons area and must be picked up NO LATER than Wednesday, May 27, at 1 pm. If not picked up by then, all items will be disposed of.

You can pick up the contents between 10:30 am and 1:00 pm on Monday and Wednesday. Please ask a staff member to get the student's contents and they will be brought to the front doors for you.
