Wakpala School District #15-3 is a public school located in Wakpala, South Dakota on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.  We are dedicated to the intellectual and social growth of each student as they learn to live effectively in a contemporary bi-cultural world.  Our school educates students to help them become successful in all aspects of life with attention to individual differences.

Parent's night

Parent's Night - Oct. 20, 2025

Parent's Night will be tonight, Monday, October, 20th for all the volleyball and cross-country team members and coaches. It will take place between the JV and Varsity volleyball games. The JV game starts at 6:00 pm CST.

No School - Native American Day

There will be no school on Monday, Oct. 13th in observance of Native American Day. Classes will resume on Oct. 14th. Enjoy the 4 day weekend!

Picture Day Retakes - Oct. 16, 2025

Picture retakes will be Thurs. Oct. 16th in the school theater from 8:30 to 10:30 am. If you want retakes done, please return your original picture packet with all pictures to the school on Oct. 16th. Those that missed the original picture day, can get their school pictures taken that day as well.
