Smile Network Smile Network International Oral Health Dental Campaign will be at the Wakpala School on Tuesday, April 28. Students will be seen for preventative dental services if they have a signed consent form from their parent/guardian. K-5 Play Day Play Day for grades K-5 will be Wednesday, April 29th, starting at 1 pm in the Wakpala School gym. Please have your child wear running shoes. Each student will participate in 3 events and each class will be teamed up for an Ice Cream Cone relay. Families are welcome to attend and cheer on the kids.
No School - April 15th There will be no school tomorrow, Wednesday, April 15th, due to the water being shut off in our area.
Wacipi Wakpala School's Annual Wacipi will be Friday, May 8th. Registration and lunch will be from 11 am-12:30 pm CST. Grand entry will be at 1 pm CST. Everyone is welcome! If your child plans to dance or sit with their family, please check them out at the front office before grand entry.
testing Grades 3-8 will begin state assessments tomorrow, Wednesday, April 8th, and will continue throughout the month of April. Please make sure your student gets plenty of rest and arrives on time so they won't have to do make up testing.

Prom Wakpala's 2026 Prom is Friday, April, 10th. The theme is "Hollywood". Doors open at 6:00 pm CST. Pictures are from 6:00-6:45 pm CST and grand march will be in the theater at 7:00 pm CST.
