The Wakpala Boys Basketball team will play Lemmon at Timberlake on Tuesday, March 1st, at 8:00 PM CST.

The Wakpala Public School is offering a fan bus for anyone who would like to see the Boys Basketball team play at Regions on Tuesday, March 1st. The bus will be at the Wakpala Community Center from 5:00-5:15 pm CST and at Holiday, in Mobridge, from 5:30-5:45. The bus will leaving for Timber Lake at 5:45. The stops will remain the same upon return. All children must be accompanied by an adult & all riders are responsible for their own admission fees at the game which are $6 for Adults and $4 for students.

The Vaccination Incentive for students that expired on November 1st has been extended to March 1st, 2022 and has been broadened to include children ages 5-11. The incentive now includes all children age 5 years & older. There is only one vaccination payment per child. If your child has already received an incentive, this application does not apply.

The Wakpala Public School would like to remind our parents, students and staff that we offer a $1,000 COVID-19 vaccination incentive for fully vaccinated students & staff. This incentive has been in place since last year, but if you have not taken advantage of the payment and want more information, please call the front office to learn more.

The Wakpala Girls Basketball team will take on Bison tonight in the Wakpala Public School gym. Tip-off time for this Region matchup is 6 pm CST.

There will be a 2 hour late start tomorrow, Thursday, February 24th and Friday, February 25th due to the forecasted weather.

There will be no after-school program today, Thursday, February 24th due to weather and Girls Basketball playoff game in Timber Lake tonight.

The bus will be at the Wakpala Community Center from 5:00-5:15 pm CST and at Holiday, in Mobridge, from 5:30-5:45. The bus will leaving for Timber Lake at 5:45.
