Sports Order Forms Due - Click for Pricing Order forms and payment for additional Basketball pins, pictures or magnets are due on Friday, December 3rd. Wakpala School is paying for the sports package for each player which includes 1 Memory Mate, 2 pins and 1 magnet. See the attached for pricing on additional items.
COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic IHS Public Health nurses will be at the Wakpala School gymnasium on December 14th from 9:30 am-2 pm for a voluntary COVID-19 vaccination event for students age 5 years and older. A student who is under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to fill out paperwork and receive the vaccine. The parent/guardian must come to the front office to check-out the student before receiving the vaccine.
Kindergarten & 4th Grade STEM project - Click here for pictures Kindergarten and 4th grade teamed up to do a STEM project around the song "5 Little Pumpkins". First, kindergarten sang the song "5 Little Pumpkins" to 4th grade and then they completed a STEM challenge. The challenge was to build a gate that held 5 candy pumpkins with the materials that were given to them. It was fun to see their creativity and teamwork during the challenge.

Early Dismissal at 1 pm - Tuesday, November 16th Wakpala Public School will dismiss early today at 1pm, Tuesday, November 16, due to high wind advisory. In conjunction with this early dismissal, there were will be no after-school program.
