The 21st Century Program is up & running. We've had great participation so far!
We wanted to remind everyone that students who are signed up for the afterschool program will be kept at school unless a parent/ guardian has called the school no later than 3:00. This is so parents and teachers both know where students should be going. Students who have behavior problems during the school day and are written up will not be allowed to stay for the afterschool program. Parents will be notified of this and students will ride home on the bus at 3:30.

The Delta Dental mobile program will be at our school February 22-26. Your child will only receive services if they have a signed parent/guardian consent form that was given at the beginning of the school year. Please call the school nurse with any questions or concerns.

Due to the Grand River (Singing) Bridge closure on Highway 1806, there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, February 22nd. Further school information will be provided as updates become available.

It is once again time to make your nominations for 'Wakpala Teacher of the Year' 2021! Please take the time to fill out the attached nomination form and return it to Mr. Shillingstad by February 19th. Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to nominate a deserving teacher in the past. It's awesome to see the support you have for your child's educators!

School is ON TIME today, Wednesday, February 17th.

Due to continuing concern for the cold temperatures, there will a 2 hour late start and NO after school program on Tuesday, February 16th.

There is no school Friday, February 12th for a Parent-Teacher Comp day. In combination with President's Day on Monday, classes will resume Tuesday, February 16th.

There will be no school Feb. 15th in honor of President's Day. Classes will resume on Feb. 16th

Wakpala Public School will be holding parent-teacher conferences on Wednesday, February 10th.

There will be no after school program Tuesday, February 9th, due to the forecasted cold.
